First things first, if you aren't already following Shelby Sorrel on Instagram... go change that right now. Not only does homegirl visit the cutest restaurants and coffee shops in all the land (home sweet Austin, Texas) but her photos will make you want to visit every. Single. One.
My coffee shop bucket list is already pretty extensive, but I knew I had to visit The Factory from the minute I saw pictures of it. Its good vibes extend far past the front door and the first look upon the interior, only getting better when you see what they have on their menu. Nutella banana waffle sandwich? Yes please!
It was official. I was an over-caffeinated version of Alice in Wonderland who had fallen down the rabbit hole and into an alternate universe of hanging lights, swinging chairs, big comfy couches and interesting people.
While the food, drinks and ambiance are of interest, possibly the most attention-grabbing detail of The Factory is its commitment to being a wifi and laptop-free zone. Crazy, I know... but it makes for a very welcoming atmosphere that is a great place to brainstorm, read or catch up with the humans you appreciate most.

I love these loose-fitting tomboy jeans with my chunky heeled boots, especially when I pair them with my new Warby Parker glasses I got for Christmas. Something about this combo says "chic tomboy" to me! I've always been attracted to and inspired by outfits that have a balance of femininity and roughness.
